We uphold a high standard of care and promote a positive, empowering culture. Role Overview: We are looking for compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated Residential Care Officer to join our team.
In this role, you will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and support participants' social and community involvement, all tailored to their individual needs. This position offers an immediate start. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care and support, following a person-centred approach.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care (e.g., showering, grooming, toileting), and household tasks.
- Provide assistance with community participation, transport, and engagement in social activities.
- Administer medication according to the participant's care plan.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and team members, ensuring dignity and independence are respected.
- Support clients with complex healthcare and behavioral needs.
- Participate in 24/7 rotating shifts, including sleepover shifts.

Qualifications and Experience:
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in disability care or aged care services.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- National Police Check.
- Awareness of the Code of Conduct for employees in Disability services.
- Valid Australian visa with working rights.
Salary: $80,000 - $82,000
