We're looking for a proactive Social Media & Content Manager to take ownership of Kiss My Axe's organic social media across our three Sydney venues.

This is a hands-on role focused on creating engaging content that helps drive bookings for our key customer groups, including Bucks Parties, Hens Parties, Corporate Events, Birthdays and Team Building events.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, planning content, creating engaging videos, staying on top of social media trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table. You'll work closely with the business owners but have the autonomy to manage our social media presence and continually look for opportunities to grow the brand.

This is a part-time position (16 hours per week) with a hybrid working arrangement. Much of the planning, editing and scheduling can be completed remotely, while regular visits to our Alexandria, Brookvale and Blacktown venues will be required to capture content.

The position is contracted through to 14 December 2026, with the possibility of continuing beyond this date depending on the needs of the business and the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Capture high-quality photo and video content at our venues to showcase the Kiss My Axe experience.
- Edit short-form video content, including Reels and TikToks.
- Plan content around upcoming promotions, campaigns, seasonal events and influencer collaborations.
- Maintain a explicit and organised content calendar.
- Create content with a strong focus on driving large-group bookings and revenue through to the end of the year.




- Monitor content performance and provide regular reporting, insights and recommendations.
- Organise and maintain a library of photos and videos for ongoing marketing use.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach and bookings.
- Work closely with our venue managers and owners to capture authentic content and bring new ideas to life.

About You

You'll be someone who:

- Has experience managing Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for a business or brand.
- Is confident filming and editing engaging short-form video content.
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Can confidently plan and execute a content strategy from start to finish.
- Enjoys analysing what performs well and continually improving content.
- Is excited about helping grow one brand and seeing the direct impact of your work.

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Sydney-based and available to regularly travel to our Alexandria, Brookvale and Blacktown venues.
- Experience using Canva and short-form video editing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
