Speedy Towbars is an Australian-owned, family-run business and one of the largest installers of towbars and accessories in Queensland. We are passionate about connecting people to adventure while promoting education and safety within the towing industry.
Due to continued growth and future succession planning within our office team, we are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service, Sales & Accounts Officer to join our business.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Everton Hills office. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a busy environment and wants to become a valued long-term member of our team.

Position Overview
This is a busy and varied role that combines customer service, sales support and accounts responsibilities.
You will be responsible for assisting customers with enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, managing bookings and supporting accounts functions including accounts payable and receivable. You will work closely with our existing office team and play an important role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service.
This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Previous accounts payable and receivable experience will be highly regarded as this role will progressively assume responsibility for accounts functions following the retirement of a long-term team member.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
- Delivering outstanding customer service to retail and wholesale customers
- Answering inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Booking customers in
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our products and services
- Processing customer payments
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
- Assisting with account enquiries and payment follow-up
- Working closely with the office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Ensuring all customer communications are handled promptly, professionally and accurately

- Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, accounts or a similar office-based role
- The ability to remain calm and organised in a rapid-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and contribute across multiple areas of the business
Highly Regarded
- Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
- Experience using accounting software
- Experience in the automotive, trade, wholesale or service industries
- Previous experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders
