About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who’s passionate to work in mental health and deliverhome and community-based OT servicesto adult NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities.
You will support participants to build independence, emotional regulation, daily living skills, meaningful routines and community participation, working in a strengths-based, trauma- informed and client-centred way.
This role is ideal for an OT who values their own balance, autonomy, flexibility and meaningful work without excessive travel or productivity pressure.

Competitive pay:
- Contractor:$110 – $140 per hour (experience-dependent)

- Employee:$90,000 – $140,000 + super (pro rata, depending on experience, full time, 30% bonuses for anything above revenue).
Key Responsibilities
Home and community-based OT assessment and intervention
Mental health focused OT interventions tailored to individual goals
Functional Capacity Assessments, Change of Circumstances, progress reports and NDIS documentation
Health promotion and capacity-building strategies
Liaison with Support Coordinators, AHAs and other professionals
Travel to client homes/community locations (own vehicle required)
About You
Occupational Therapist (Level 2 or above preferred)
Ideally 2–3 years’ experience(mental health and/or NDIS highly regarded)
Confident working autonomously while collaborating with a team
Strong communication, rapport-building and report-writing skills
Comfortable working with adults from diverse backgrounds
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
CurrentAHPRA registration(no restrictions)
CurrentFirst Aid & CPR
Working With Children CheckandPolice Check
Australian Driver’s Licenceand access to own vehicle
