THE ROLE: Sales Representative Role

Your primary responsibility will focus on incoming telephone calls, driving brand recognition, and enhancing customer engagement. You will work closely with our sales, procurement, and production teams to develop and implement strategies that ensure our products reach and resonate with the right audience.

- Customer Consultation: Determining customer needs, whether they are DIY enthusiasts or trade professionals like mechanics, and advising them on the right products.
- Parts Identification: Using extensive knowledge of vehicle systems, parts lists, and manufacturer details (make, model, year) to identify the correct part numbers, price, and availability.
- Sales and Support: Taking orders, preparing contracts, and providing technical advice and information on product use, care, warranties, and delivery options.
- Innovation: Help identify additional towing products to grow sales in the heavy vehicle sector.
- Specialisation:



Focusing on a specific type of vehicle (e.g., caravans, trucks, trailers) and their unique parts and accessories.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

While formal qualifications are not always mandatory, a Certificate II or III in automotive parts interpreting or automotive sales can be beneficial. These courses cover essential skills like customer service, sales processing, workplace safety, and stock management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse data to make informed decisions and improve sales campaigns.
- Experience with computer systems and answering email queries.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute fresh, innovative ideas.
- Knowledge of the caravanning, trailer, trucking and towing industry is a plus, but not required.
