About the Role
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient service delivery, strong financial controls and an exceptional experience for both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You will oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations while coaching and developing your team, monitoring operational performance, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop the Accounts Payable team to deliver exceptional results.
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs and reconciliations.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, ageing balances and operational performance.
- Manage workload allocation, team planning and business continuity.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex supplier and system issues.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across the business.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Operations and IT to improve processes.
- Lead process improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance and audit requirements.
- Deliver reporting, insights and recommendations to support business performance.

About You
- 5–7 years' experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment.
- Previous experience leading or supervising an Accounts Payable team.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment runs.
- Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
- Strong SAP experience, with exposure to VIM, OCR, EDI and workflow technologies highly regarded.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- A passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
