- Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $116,981 - $129,492 + super & leave loading
- Ongoing role based at Haymarket in Sydney, NSW

About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative Advisor, Internal Communications & Engagement to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll develop engaging internal communications, deliver impactful employee events, and provide trusted communications advice that supports organisational priorities and strengthens employee engagement across the department and portfolio.

As an Advisor, Internal Communications & Engagement, you will:

- Develop and implement internal communication plans, campaigns and collateral that support organisational priorities and strategic objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the department and portfolio to understand communication needs and deliver tailored solutions that achieve desired outcomes.
- Plan and deliver a diverse range of in-person, virtual and hybrid employee events, managing logistics, budgets, project timelines and supporting communications from concept to evaluation.
- Create high-quality, engaging content for a variety of internal channels, including intranet, newsletters, emails, presentations and digital platforms.
- Support senior leaders to communicate effectively with their teams and foster a connected, informed and engaged workforce.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, subject matter experts and project teams to deliver coordinated communication and engagement initiatives.




- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and events, using insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor emerging and sensitive issues, escalating where appropriate to support timely and effective resolution.

About You

You are a collaborative communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities. You have strong writing and project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering engaging employee experiences.

You will bring:

- Experience developing and delivering internal communications, engagement campaigns and communication plans.
- Robust written communication skills with the ability to create engaging, audience-focused content across multiple channels.
- Experience coordinating and delivering successful in-person, virtual and hybrid events, including project planning, logistics and budget management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide practical communications advice.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.




- An interest in emerging communication technologies and best practice approaches to employee engagement.
