As Compliance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring training delivered through a national partner network meets the highest regulatory and quality standards. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external training partners, you'll help safeguard the organisation's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Lead, you'll support the monitoring, governance and compliance of third-party training delivery across a national network. This is a varied role that combines compliance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, reporting and quality administration. You'll work collaboratively with training partners to ensure regulatory requirements are met while supporting ongoing improvements in quality and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring third-party training partners to ensure ongoing compliance with ASQA Standards and contractual obligations.
- Coordinating compliance checks, audits and partner reviews across the national network.
- Maintaining accurate trainer, assessor and compliance documentation.
- Supporting investigations into compliance issues, complaints and corrective action plans.
- Preparing compliance reports, risk assessments and management reporting.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring compliance processes remain current.
- Working collaboratively with internal quality and training teams to support continuous improvement across the RTO.
About You
Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about quality, governance and education, with the ability to build positive relationships while maintaining strong compliance standards. You'll bring:
- Experience working within the VET or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) sector.
- Strong knowledge of the ASQA Standards for RTOs, particularly in relation to third-party arrangements.
- Experience supporting compliance monitoring, audits and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation management skills.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management capability.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and driving continuous improvement.
Essential
- Minimum three years' experience in RTO compliance.
- Experience within the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
- Sound understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Strong written communication and reporting skills.
- A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) and/or qualifications in Quality or Compliance will be highly regarded.
