About the Firm

Established almost four years ago, myclient has experienced consistent year-on-year growth, building a reputation as trusted business advisors and accountants to an impressive portfolio of clients.

Led by a highly approachable Director with a strong background in mid-tier accounting firms, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth. They are now seeking a Senior Accountant to become the Director's trusted second-in-command, helping to manage client relationships while supporting the continued expansion of the practice.

About the Role

As the Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients across industries including education, manufacturing, property development, construction, professional services and trades.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing tax and compliance obligations for your client portfolio
- Reviewing work completed by the offshore team
- Building robust,



long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Assisting the Director with workflow management and practice growth initiatives

Please note: This role will be fully remote for the first six months. Following this period, the expectation is to transition to a hybrid arrangement of two days in the office and three days working from home.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

- Brisbane-based residency
- A minimum of four years' Australian public practice tax and accounting experience
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Experience using Xero (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to contribute to a growing firm
