We are a well-established accounting firm based in Wetherill Park, specialising in tax and compliance services for a diverse range of individuals and businesses.

We are seeking an experienced accountant with a strong background in taxation and compliance to join our team. This role suits someone who can work autonomously, manage a varied client portfolio, and deliver accurate, timely outcomes across a range of entity types.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
- Preparing BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations.
- Assisting clients with tax and accounting queries.
- Liaising with the ATO and other government agencies.
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 5 years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
- Experience preparing tax returns and financial statements.




- A sound understanding of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a cooperative team.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or APS (preferred but not essential).
- CA or CPA qualification (completed or currently studying) is desirable.
