Speech Pathologist/Senior Speech Pathologist (Contractor)- High Pay

Qualifications & Experience

Completed Bachelors or Masters of Speech Pathology degree.

Experience working with the 2-18-year age range will be preferred.

Working with Children Check and National Police check.

Driver's licence and access to a car (for school and home visits).

Speech Language Pathologist: Must be a member of Speech Pathology Australia and commitment to Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics

Tasks & Responsibilities

Provide speech pathology services in both clinic and community settings, including home and school visits, with the majority of clients seen in the clinic.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, prepare clinical reports, and provide parent training and education.





Complete school-based assessments, provide feedback to teachers and families, prepare reports, submit funding applications where required, deliver therapy, and provide recommendations to support students in the educational setting.

Liaise with parents, teachers, support workers, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, client-centred service delivery.

Adhere to evidence-based practice in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of assessments and interventions.

Provide supervision, mentoring, and training to therapy assistants and graduate speech pathologists as required.

Contract

Adaptable working hours/choose your own hours- Mostly clinic based paediatric clients and complete admin support

$115-$135 per hour inclusive of superannuation depending on experience, and signing bonus: $2000
