Clinical Trainer and Assessor (Registered Nurse)

Beyond Care is seeking a Clinical Trainer and Assessor (Registered Nurse) to join our team on a casual/Part time basis. In this key role, you will be responsible for the training and assessment of our disability support workers, ensuring they are fully equipped with the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care to our clients. As a Registered Nurse, you will leverage your extensive experience to develop and deliver engaging training programs, as well as assess the competency of our support workers team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our organisation, located in the vibrant Norwest area of New South Wales.

What you'll be doing

Employee Training & Development

- Design and deliver engaging training programs for support workers/coordinators, with a focus on complex care, clinical procedures, and person-centred practices
- Conduct competency assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement

Care Planning & Assessment

- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans in accordance with NDIS guidelines and clinical standards
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies

Quality & Compliance

- Maintain accurate training records and ensure all employees meet mandatory competency requirements




- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives in both care delivery and training frameworks

Qualifications & Experience

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Proven experience in Clinical education, training and assessment within the disability or aged care sector
- Strong understanding of NDIS standards and complex care delivery
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
- Right to work in Australia
