About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented casual Quality Control Assistant to join our energetic team. Based at our warehouse in Ultimo. We are looking for someone that is available to work 3+ days a week.
Candidates who have 1-2 years of garment quality control experience are an ideal match for this role.
Please note that valid Australian work rights are required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for checking our garments to ensure we continue to deliver an exceptional quality product and meet not only our own high expectations but more importantly, those of our customers.
- Performing full quality control of garments
- Measuring garments
- Completing specification sheets
- Anticipating and identifying product faults
- Liaising with the buyers and customer service re: fit details and any Quality Control issues
- Sewing labels
Ideal Background
- An understanding of garment construction, pattern making and grading techniques
- Good organisational and planning skills with extremely strong attention to detail
- The ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior fit-model experience is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well in a team as well as autonomously
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic sewing experience needed
- Can do attitude!
