About the role

As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to recruit a Field Trades Assistant who has mechanical knowledge and is looking to get a start in the industry.

The Trades Assistant will be an integral part of the Service Team, assisting our Field Service Technicians carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding as well as machine installations and commissioning’s at our customer's premises, predominantly within the metro and greater Sydney area but also in regional NSW and occasionally elsewhere within Australia to support our Interstate Technicians when required. You will also be involved in processing in new machinery and prepping sold machines from within our workshop.

Successful applicants who can demonstrate a level of ability, knowledge and understanding of mechanical disciplines and who show a strong willingness to learn will be provided with extensive training allowing them to succeed in this role and for right applicant skill up to Installation or Service Technician level.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to

- Have a solid understanding of mechanical concepts
- Willing to assist all technicians within the team on a variety of tasks.
- Maintain a highly skilled presentation with our customers and our suppliers.

About you

You must hold

- An unrestricted C class NSW Driving Licence.

You should be competent office software and be numerate and literate

Our Sydney office is located in Warriewood, NSW 2102. Applicants should reside within a close commutable distance to our office.

Applicants must currently be resident in Australia and must be either an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights.
