Overview

- Monitor, track, and analyze policy developments, regulatory changes, political trends, and economic shifts across key Asia-Pacific markets, including but not limited to Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania.
- Conduct in-depth research on regional affairs, industry-specific dynamics, cross-border cooperation, and emerging challenges, and produce high-quality, explicit, and concise research reports, policy briefs, and strategic analysis documents.
- Interpret the implications of regional policies and events for clients’ operations, investments, and expansion plans, and provide tailored recommendations and strategic advice.
- Synthesize complex information from multiple sources, identify key insights and trends, and present findings effectively to internal teams and external clients.
- Stay updated on regional and global issues that impact the Asia-Pacific, and contribute to the development of the firm’s knowledge base and thought leadership in regional affairs.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Asian Studies, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the political, economic, and social environments of the Asia-Pacific region, with in-depth knowledge of at least one or more key markets.
- Proven experience in policy research, report writing, or strategic analysis; experience in consulting, think tanks, international organizations, or relevant government bodies is highly advantageous.
- Strong research skills: ability to collect, verify, and analyze information from diverse sources, and produce structured, insightful, and well-written reports and documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in regional affairs, global trends, and the intersection of policy and business.
