The key duties for this role include:
Painting of steel using air spraying method to apply a variety of primers and direct to metal epoxy paints.
Abrasive blasting using a variety of blast media
Keeping records of blast profile, paint thickness (WFT and DFT) and climate conditions.
Ensuring painting and blasting equipment is regularly serviced and maintained
Assisting the Operations Team with forklift movements, loading and unloading trucks, deliveries etc
General problem solving and operational support the our team!

Safety focused - this is our only non negotiable
Ability to perform all of the above key duties
Solid attention to detail, our game is one of millimetres
Excellent planning and problem solving skills
Must be a team player - Out culture is our best asset!
This role will be based at our purpose built factory in Cooroy which is 3500m2 and has a dedicated painting bay and blasting booth.
Some in-situ onsite work may be required from time to time on projects across SEQ for which accommodation, meals etc all provided as well as penalty rates.
