Freight Assist Australia are looking for a Fleet Allocator (Immediate Start)

Freight Assist Australia is a leading company in bulk national transport, logistics, and 3PL warehousing, specialising in general and express freight Australia wide. They are currently looking for a sidekick to join their operations in their Sydney warehouse in Smithfield.

This role will be full-time ongoing, with an prospect for career progression with the organisation. Freight Assist Australia have a 'grow your own' philosophy and promote their own staff consistently.

Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $38.48 per hour + super

Reporting into the Senior Fleet Allocator in the Operations team, you will be responsible for:

- Allocation of PUD driver runs for 23 trucks in NSW,



ensuring fleet and load optimisation and efficiency
- Manifest local PUD runs (Including pre-loads)
- Verify and approve driver run sheets
- Manage driver expectations and communicate PUD changes to customer service or customers where required.
- Assist onboarding potential new drivers

About you:

- At least 6 months experience in a similar role within the transport and logistics industry.
- Experience as a truck driver/long haul driver looking to transition into an operations role

Successful candidates will be required to attend a meet and greet with the client before starting.
