Clinical Nurse Consultant (Gde 2) - Apheresis - Perm FT

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Apheresis and CAR-T services at Liverpool Hospital. As a newly created position, you will play a pivotal leadership role in advancing an already established apheresis service, driving excellence in patient care, and leading the unit towards compliance with national standards and FACT accreditation. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional communication and active listening skills, and a passion for service development, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in Apheresis. In addition, the employee must have approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which the employee is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.

Describe your experience with therapeutic and donor apheresis procedures. Which modalities have you worked with most extensively?

Describe your experience with policy development, procedure review, or accreditation requirements.

Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
