About the role

This is a role in Rocklea, servicing the Brisbane Markets, in a great organisation with strong family values within a fast-growing horticultural business. JH Leavy is part of the Darling Group, a creation of the Darling family with over 30 years of work and investment in an integrated (from farm to market) international horticulture business.

You’ll provide expert advice and support to each of the individual Warehouse Managers in their day-to-day post harvesting operations.

- examining imported fruit and vegetables and making quarantine arrangements.
- auditing and monitoring quality procedures to ensure compliance with required standards.
- testing samples of produce for quality, size and purity.
- advising on the identification of pests and diseases and on regulations pertaining to grading, packing and loading of products.
- ensuring that required standards of hygiene are observed at storage, processing and packing facilities and in transport vehicles.

You’ll be able to show us success in your career to date with previous experience, you’ll holdAQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2). Salary is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 for 38 hours worked under theStorage Services and Wholesale Award 2020
