An exciting chance has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Officerto join a well-established and growing healthcare organisation based in Carina.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to manage billing, collections and account enquiries while maintaining positive relationships with patients, clients and stakeholders.
About the Role
Working 20 hours per week across 5 days (4 hours per day), this role offers consistent afternoon hours, making it ideal for someone seeking flexibility while remaining connected to a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end billing and collections process
- Following up outstanding accounts and payment enquiries
- Negotiating payment plans and setting up direct debits
- Processing invoices and reconciliations
- Responding to billing queries in a professional and timely manner
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve account issues
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare billing requirements and company procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven experience in billing and collections, ideally within a healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounts receivable practices and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience using financial software and case management systems to effectively manage billing cycles and collections
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders, resolving enquiries promptly and professionally
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Healthcare Industry experience will be highly regarded
