About the Role
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with production, warehouse and supervisory staff to maintain smooth daily operations
- Maintain clear communication across production and warehouse teams
- Track production progress and communicate issues that may impact timelines or product quality.
- Assemble and finish retail display products
- Operate factory machinery and production equipment
- Pack finished goods ready for dispatch
- Follow production job lists and schedules
- Maintain quality and safety standards to ensure a compliant working environment.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams
- Support supervisors with task coordination and team support
What You'll Be Building:
At Apex Display, our production team manufactures retail display systems used in stores across Australia.
Every project is different, giving our team the opportunity to develop practical manufacturing skills and see the finished result used in real retail environments.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing, factory or production environments preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing or production environments required
- Ability to use hand tools and follow production instructions
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 30kg within the production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
- Practical thinker who can identify issues and contribute to solutions on the production floor
- Robust verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Positive attitude with interest in developing leadership and coordination skills
- Comfortable using basic technology including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Forklift licence and manual driver's licence desirable (not essential)
