John Blythe Child Psychology - Blacktown NSW

We are seeking Provisional Psychologists (5+1 Pathway), Registered Psychologists and Family Therapists to join our team and deliver high-quality psychological interventions and assessments, contribute to multidisciplinary case coordination and support continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking to fill available roles in two clinics across Sydney (Gledswood Hills and Blacktown).

This role includes in-person, school, home, and telehealth sessions as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver evidence-based, developmentally appropriate psychological interventions for children/adolescents and their families
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and risk assessments, following duty-of-care and escalation protocols
- Develop treatment plans, behavioural support strategies, and goal-focused interventions
- Prepare high-quality reports, letters, and recommendations for clients, families, and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, families, and other providers to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation consistent with APS and company standards
- Support booking, billing, and administrative processes in collaboration with Client Services staff
- Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and development of clinical protocols
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to mentoring or training of students and early-career clinicians

Requirements

- General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (or Provisional registration)




- Current Medicare Provider Number (for Registered Psychologists)
- Knowledge of NDIS and MBS frameworks relevant to service delivery
- Experience in child/adolescent psychological assessment and intervention is preferred but not necessary
- Experience in telehealth service delivery is preferred but not necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to provide required identification documentation
- Maintain professional boundaries and ethical practice at all times
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, families, and stakeholders
- Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and adapt communication to client needs
- Manage caseloads, time, and administrative responsibilities effectively
- Contribute positively to team cohesion and reflective practice
