About the Role
This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to build a career in Recruitment and Administration. Working closely with the Talent & People Manager and Head of HR, you will provide administrative and recruitment support across our restaurants in NSW and QLD.
This role offers 3 days (22.8hours) hours per week, this could increase slightly in peak season depending on business requirements and projects. We are flexible with how these hours are worked and can accommodate different days within the week.
This is a 6 month Parental Leave cover contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment workflows using JobAdder, including job advertisements, candidate screening, shortlisting, candidate communication, offer management, and contract creation.
- Post, edit and refresh job advertisements across relevant recruitment platforms.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and phone interviews, record candidate notes and progress applicants through recruitment stages.
- Coordinate interviews and trials with venue managers, sending invitations, following up with candidates and recording trial outcomes.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes,
including preparing employment documentation and supporting administration in our HRIS.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, including uploading documents, checking missing or expired documentation and assisting with reports.
- Manage Careers inbox and respond to recruitment and HR-related enquiries.
- Support the HR team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
About You
- 1+ years’ experience in a recruitment role (internal or agency);
- ORExtensive hospitality experience (5+ years) with a genuine interest in transitioning into a People focused role.
- Previous experience working in restaurants or hospitality
- A strong understanding of restaurant operations
- Ideally some knowledge of the Restaurant Industry Award
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence speaking with candidates over the phone
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
