The Role
Airmaster Fire Services offers a complete fire protection service, including supply, servicing, maintenance and installation of all facets of fire equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to join our NSW branch. You will be required to effectively deliver the sprinkler work requirements of the business including inspection, testing and maintenance, repair, ad-hoc and contract/project works, located across NSW. We are looking for a candidates living in and around Sydney (Wollongong, Blue Mountains and Central Coast) to join our team and support our growing customer base.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Experienced Qualified Sprinkler Fitter/ Qualified Plumber
- A strong knowledge of inspection and servicing of sprinkler systems along with an understanding of both AS 1851 and AS 2118
- Installation, maintenance and servicing of wet, deluge and gaseous sprinkler systems and associated equipment.
- Installation, maintenance and servicing of fire pump sets.
- Installation, inspection,
maintenance and repair of fire hydrant and hose reel installations.
- Drain Down and recharging of sprinkler systems.
- Flow and Hydrostatic testing of sprinkler and hydrant systems.
- Professional client interaction.
- Reporting on your activities, compliance issues and health & safety matters.
- Be part of an on-call roster.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
- Ability to delegate workloads to appropriate skill sets
- Reliable, self-motivated, and well presented
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to undergo a national police background check
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential
