Architectural Stone Works Pty Ltd - Condell Park NSW

We are seeking an Experienced Stonemason-Polisher to join the team at Architectural Stone Works Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Condell Park, NSW. As a Stonemason-Polisher, you will play a vital role in our operations, transforming raw stone into beautifully finished architectural pieces that enhance both residential and commercial spaces. This role is central to our reputation for quality craftsmanship and precision workmanship, requiring a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and can deliver exceptional results consistently.

Key responsibilities

- Operating specialised cutting and polishing equipment safely and effectively. Shaping stone materials including marble, quartzite, silica free recycled stone and porcelain to client's specifications
- Preparing stone materials for installation and delivery, such as countertops, fireplaces, steps, tables. Both residential and commercial projects
- Maintaining workshop equipment in good working order and reporting any maintenance issues
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Stonemason-Polisher, ideally with at least 1 year in the building trades industry
- Proficiency in using stone cutting and polishing equipment and tools




- Strong understanding of different stone types and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
- A valid driver's licence and white card
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following workplace health and safety protocols
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
