The Role
No two days are the same.
You'll work across a variety of projects including:
- Detail & topographic surveys
- Commercial projects
- TfNSW and transport projects
- Construction support and set-out work
You'll be responsible for planning and completing surveys, processing data, preparing plans and delivering accurate results for our clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out detail and topographic surveys
- Boundary and construction set-out surveys
- Preparing plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Working with Total Stations, GNSS/GPS and laser scanning equipment
- Liaising with project managers, engineers and construction teams
- Delivering work safely, accurately and on time
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' experience in detail and topographic surveying
- Strong AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D skills
- Experience with Total Stations, GNSS/GPS and laser scanning technology
- A current Australian Driver Licence
- Great communication skills and pride in producing quality work
Experience on TfNSW or major civil infrastructure projects will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
Physical Requirements
This is an active field role and includes:
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Carrying survey equipment (up to 20kg)
- Driving between project locations
- Occasional overtime
