Position Overview
The Head of Business Intelligence will play a pivotal role in shaping the business strategy through data-driven insights and analysis. Focused on data and insights across 3 key Divisions, this position involves overseeing market research, analytics, and reporting to guide decision-making and enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Lead: Identifying and create new metrics and reporting that helps drive business decisions and aligns with the company’s goals
- Data Analytics: Utilise advanced analytical tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights from complex datasets, supporting investment decisions and operational improvements.
- Reporting:
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accessibility of information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, marketing, and operations, to develop & integrate insights into overall business strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop team members (off-shore), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skilled growth.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a team player who is passionate about systems and data. Additionally, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce/Business, Economics or similar.
- 3+ years proven analyst, financial modelling and property/business analysis (ideally within Investment / Property / A-REIT sector)
- Pro-active & resilient – this is a fast paced team focused on deliverables
- Advanced excel skills and Hubspot (or similar)
- Ability to be able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels (we call it “chunk up” and “drill down”
- Permanent Resident or Citizen
