General Store All Rounder - Retail and Food Prep

CURRUMBIN GENERAL is seeking versatile team members to handle customer service, daily food preparation, and hot cooking.

Responsibilities

- Operating the POS register and assisting customers with purchases and store inquiries.
- Preparing & packaging fresh sandwiches, wraps, and grab and go items.
- Operating commercial deep fryers to cook hot chips orders safely and efficiently
- Maintain food safety, hygiene standards and clean workspaces.
- Stockings shelves, pricing items and rotating stock
- Cleaning of Kitchen and store areas, stock management, & waste minimisation.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a Retail, Takeaway shop, or Food Prep workplace
- Strong customer service skills - building strong customer relationships and local connection with the community
- Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends on a rotating roster
