The Empowerment Project - Allied Health Care is a young, fast-growing allied health company and we're looking for our next star OT!
Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced clinician looking for your next move, we'd love to hear from you. Medicolegal OT: we are one of the only providers in Sydney offering this rare and exciting specialty. Experienced OTs can deepen their skills, and newer clinicians can learn it from the ground up

What You'll Get
$80-$120/hour or salary equivalent, with annual pay reviews

Experienced OTs
If you've got a few years behind you, we'll meet you where you are. You'll have the freedom to run your own caseload, the chance to mentor and support our newer clinicians if that's something you enjoy, and real pathways into senior, supervisory and specialist roles, including our sought-after medicolegal work. We're growing fast, which means plenty of opportunity to step up, lead, and help build something special.
New Grads, This One's for You
Just starting out? We've got you. Our 12-month new graduate program has been designed by OTs, for OTs, to set you up for a outstanding career, not just get you through your first year. You won't be thrown in the deep end. You'll be supported every step of the way,
starting with shadowing and sitting in on sessions, then gradually building your confidence at a pace that works for you.
Weekly 1:1 clinical supervision with a dedicated, experienced senior OT
Shadowing and joint client sessions in your first weeks so you never feel alone on the floor
Every report and assessment peer-reviewed until you feel confident working independently
Monthly in-services and guest speakers across diverse practice areas
A structured new-grad milestone checklist so you always know where you stand and what's next
Support to develop your own professional identity, clinical interests and long-term goals
What You'll Be Doing
No two days look the same here, and that's exactly the point. You'll be out in the community doing genuinely meaningful work with real people, backed by a team who supports you every step of the way.
Looking after a varied adult and/or paediatric caseload, visiting clients in their homes and communities across Sydney
Completing home modification assessments to help people live safely and independently
Recommending assistive technology that genuinely changes lives
Writing assessments, reports and support plans
Carrying out paediatric assessments to support children and their families
Opportunities to get involved in medicolegal OT, one of the most specialised areas in the profession
Delivering therapy that's person-centred, evidence-based and actually makes a difference
Building relationships with support coordinators, carers, families and other professionals
Working closely with our in-house team of Physios, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Podiatrists
