ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of a >$1B Australian business, responsible for shaping how we leverage data, analytics, and AI to drive commercial performance and customer experience.

You will be a resilient and tenacious leader who can demonstrate experience in building strong relationships and managing senior stakeholders with strong analytical and reporting skills.

This is not a pure management role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable building dashboards, analysing data, and driving change as they are leading a team.

The role will have delegated ownership for selected commercial operations metrics and execution priorities. This ensures the Head of Sales Operations is empowered to help drive business outcomes directly, not simply advise, report or track actions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

COMMERCIAL INSIGHTS, ANALYTICS & EXECUTION

- Act as trusted advisor to the Australian Leadership Team for data, insights and analytics
- Deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics and storytelling
- Own end-to-end analysis from data extraction to executive recommendations
- Design, evolve and lead the Business Management System to support the strategy execution
- Own selected revenue and profitability operations metrics, with clear accountability for insights, actions and follow-through, such as sales productivity, supply prioritization, CX
- Lead the tender pursuit team in delivering high-quality, customer-focused proposals and tender responses that showcase Lenovo’s value and capabilities.

ANALYTICS TOOLS & PLATFORMS (POWERBI & D365)

- Design and build PowerBI dashboards to drive performance visibility
- Leverage D365 and other systems to create unified business insights
- Improve data quality,



governance and consistency
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics

PLANNING & MARKET INTELLIGENCE

- Own forecasting, planning and performance tracking
- Drive market intelligence analysis and insights
- Identify growth opportunities and profitability levers
- Connect demand, supply, pipeline and market intelligence to support prioritisation decisions and trade-offs across the business

AI & INNOVATION

- Identify and apply AI opportunities across sales operations and analytics
- Partner with global teams to pilot and scale AI use cases
- Embed AI-enabled decision making into workflows

TRANSFORMATION & CHANGE

- Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Redesign processes and ways of working
- Drive adoption of new tools and capabilities
- Mobilise cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational blockers and ensure actions translate into measurable business outcomes

LEADERSHIP

- Lead and develop a high-performing team
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

CORE CAPABILITIES

- Strong hands-on data analytics capability
- Advanced PowerBI experience or similar data analytics experience
- Experience with D365 or similar platforms
- Ability to translate data into business insights
- Strong understanding of sales operations

QUALIFICATIONS

- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- ICT industry experience preferred
- Experience with AI-driven analytics is a plus
