We're working with multiple respected Sydney commercialbuilders specialising in commercial fit out, refurbishment and Design &Construct; projects across workplace, education, hospitality, retail, healthcareand industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline ofsecured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Administratorto support the successful delivery of projects ranging from $500K to $15M.
The Role
Working closely with Project Managers and Site Managers,you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of multiple fit out,refurbishment and Design & Construct projects. You'll be responsible forprocurement, cost management and subcontract administration while ensuringprojects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Managesubcontract procurement, tendering and contract administration acrossmultiple commercial projects.
- Preparetrade packages, scopes of work and negotiate subcontract agreements.
- Assessprogress claims, manage variations and administer subcontract payments.
- Monitorproject budgets, forecasting and monthly cost reporting.
- AssistProject Managers with commercial programming and project delivery.
- Buildstrong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Ensurecontractual compliance while identifying commercial risks andopportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
- Minimum3 years' Contracts Administration experience within the Australiancommercial construction industry.
- Demonstratedexperience delivering commercial fit out, refurbishment and/or Design& Construct projects.
- Exposureto projects ranging from $500K to $15M.
- Strongunderstanding of procurement, cost control, subcontract management andcontract administration.
- Excellentorganisational, negotiation and communication skills.
- Relevanttertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or arelated discipline.
- Procore, Hammertech or similar software experience
