The Role

We are looking to connect closely with Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars looking for broad procedural experience in a supportive, consultant-led setting at a regional teaching hospital in Victoria.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop confidence across labour ward, obstetric emergencies, antenatal and gynaecology clinics, elective and emergency theatre, and inpatient care. The role is particularly attractive for International Medical Graduates, with the health service offering an accredited Workplace-Based Assessment (WBA) program for eligible doctors already employed by the hospital.

The Hospital

This 172-bed teaching hospital is the major referral centre for a large cross-border region, providing comprehensive obstetric, gynaecology, emergency, intensive care, paediatric and surgical services.



The breadth of the referral catchment provides Registrars with a varied case mix and excellent hands-on experience.

Training & Development

- RANZCOG accredited training site (CWH, PTP and APTP).
- Accredited Workplace-Based Assessment (WBA) program for eligible IMGs.
- Consultant-led supervision with structured teaching.
- Excellent operative, labour ward and outpatient exposure.
- Opportunities to participate in education, audit and quality improvement.

- Eligible for AHPRA registration.
