As AGT continues to expand its concrete operations, this position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, supplier relationships, cost control, and project delivery.
Job Summary
The Concrete Booking Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all concrete supply requirements across AGT Civil Construction projects. This role acts as the central point of contact of high volume of concrete up to 10,000m3 monthly between project teams, concrete suppliers, batching plants, subcontractors, and site supervisors to ensure concrete is delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and allocate concrete orders for existing clients to delivery trucks and drivers.
- Coordinate daily concrete bookings with customers and site supervisors.
- Monitor delivery schedules and adjust allocations as required.
- Communicate with batching plants, drivers, and customers regarding delivery times.
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve scheduling issues.
- Maintain accurate booking records and delivery documentation.
- Handle last-minute changes and prioritize urgent orders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in transport, logistics, dispatch, or co-ordination. Concrete & Construction background is preferred and advantageous.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of the construction or ready-mix concrete industry is an advantage.
