Paediatric Intensive Program Manager - Allied Health

Optimum Health Solutions – Sydney NSW

Intensive programs work. The evidence is transparent. What's less common is an organisation prepared to invest in building them properly. Optimum is doing that, and we need the right clinician to lead it.

Optimum Health Solutions is establishing a structured school holiday intensive program model across our Sydney clinic sites — multidisciplinary, goal-directed, and built around the approaches that actually move the needle for children and families. We are looking for an experienced paediatric Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist to design it, deliver it, and grow it.

As Paediatric Intensive Program Manager, you will work directly with the Managing Director to build the program from scratch, developing the clinical frameworks, session structures, and outcome measurement tools, then leading delivery across our MDT teams. Over time you will expand the program beyond school holidays and drive the development of Optimum's broader paediatric service offering.

The approaches that will underpin this program include DIR/Floortime, Ayres Sensory Integration, SOS Feeding, the CO-OP Approach, and PRPP Assessment and Intervention. Experience across one or more of these is essential. A genuine passion for intensive, family-centred paediatric intervention is non-negotiable.

What you'll be doing

Designing and building Optimum's school holiday intensive program model from the ground up

Developing clinical frameworks, session plans, goal-setting tools, and outcome measurement systems

Leading and coordinating MDT delivery across Speech Pathology, OT, and Physiotherapy

Managing intake, triage, and family communication processes for each program cohort

Building referral relationships with schools, paediatricians, support coordinators, and community partners

Expanding the program beyond school holidays and into broader paediatric initiatives over time

What you'll bring

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy

Current AHPRA registration and relevant qualified association membership

5+ years post-graduate experience in paediatric settings

Demonstrated experience delivering or coordinating intensive or group-based paediatric programs

Training or demonstrated experience in one or more of: DIR/Floortime, Ayres Sensory Integration, SOS Feeding, CO-OP Approach, PRPP Assessment and Intervention

Experience working within or leading multidisciplinary teams

Current Working With Children Check and driver's licence

Why Optimum

We are a multidisciplinary organisation with 15+ clinic locations across NSW and Tasmania and more than 200 staff. This program has the full backing of our leadership team and the clinical talent to deliver it well. You will have direct access to the Managing Director, genuine influence over Optimum's paediatric service direction, and access to the Allied Health Warrior platform for ongoing professional development.

If building something that genuinely improves outcomes for children and families is what drives you, we would love to hear from you.
