Supervisor - Commercial and Industrial Metal Roofing

All Type Metal Roofing is seeking an experienced Metal Roofing Supervisor to oversee commercial and industrial roofing projects across Brisbane. An immediate start is available, although applicants required to provide notice are still encouraged to apply.

This is a hands‑on supervisory role responsible for coordinating roofing crews, liaising with builders, measuring and planning works, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The primary focus is supervision and project coordination. However, the successful applicant will also be expected to assist crews on the tools when required to resolve technical issues, maintain productivity or meet project deadlines.

You will play a key role in driving quality, managing project flow and representing ATMR on-site.

Key responsibilities

- Liaising with builders, site managers and internal roofing teams

- Supervising and supporting roofing crews on‑site

- Inspecting workmanship and carrying out internal QA checks

- Measuring on‑site and developing custom flashing designs and set‑outs to suit project requirements





- Reading plans and preparing material take‑offs and purchase orders

- Coordinating deliveries, crane lifts and site logistics

- Managing subcontractors and allocating scopes of work

- Managing warranty and maintenance items

- Completing general project administration and documentation

- Providing hands‑on assistance to roofing crews when reasonably required, including resolving technical issues, supporting productivity and helping meet project deadlines

About you

- Proven experience in metal roofing, preferably within commercial or industrial projects

- Previous experience in a leading hand or supervisory role

- Strong understanding of metal roofing systems, flashings and rainwater goods

- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans

- Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects

- Robust communication skills when dealing with roofing crews, builders and site management

- Current driver’s licence

- Construction Industry General Induction Card (White Card)

- Current Working at Heights qualification

- EWP licences for under and over 11 metres
