Our purpose built 66 place centre has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated leader to join the team as Assistant Centre Director, inclusive of Pre‑school Teacher/Educator, Educational Leader and Responsible Person duties. Approx. The structure of contact time is expected to be 1 day off-the-floor in administrative duties and the other 4 days in the Preschool Room.

To be successful in this role you will be a passionate about providing outstanding experiences for the children & families and bring your team with you on the journey to create an amazing environment and learning spaces.

Ideally with several years experience in asimilar role you will be a leader and motivating educator with capable administrative skills, high attention to detail and unwaivering standards.

You will have a strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF, NQS and regulations.

We deliver a strong onboarding program with ongoing professional development.

The ability to develop excellent relationships with families is essential, along with managing operations to maximiseenrolments and ensuring Flourish is see as the centre of choice for families in the community.

The successful applicant will be friendly,



outgoing and approachable individualwho works well in a team but autonomously. Outstanding communication skills are essential as is a professional level of presentation.

You will be an integral part of the management team, networking directly with the owners, other Centre Directors and Educational Leaders across the group. You will have the chance to input directly to the organisation and you will know your voice is valued.

WHAT YOU NEED

- a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood 0-5years) or recognised equivalent (i.e. Graduate Diploma Early Childhood) OR a Diploma in Children's Services are required for this position.
- to hold and maintain a current Working with Children Check
- be available to be rostered Mon-Fri between the hours of 7am and 6pm as the needs of the role and the business may require
- Have no prohibition notices




- Have completed the GECCKO foundations course (Free online govt. course)
- Hold current HLTAID012 First Aid for Child Care setting
- Food Safety Certificate (free online course)
- Hold CHCPRT025 Child Protection training and refresher < 12 months
- Advanced Childcare Protection Course Certificate (Free online Govt. course)
- Be fit and able to work directly with children

Current WWC, Recognised qualifications, current First Aid & resuscitation for RP’s and NS, current Child Protection CHCPRT025/001 and refreshers and Child Safe Foundations with ongoing refreshers, Prohibition declaration and Prohibition clearance, National Workers Register, Responsible Person duties for suitable individuals, Police Clearance for RP’s and NS, We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
