We are currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team! This role includes a mix of workshop, field service, and occasional international work (including Pacific Islands, PNG etc ) supporting generator installation projects and ongoing servicing and maintenance.

What you’ll do

- Service, repair and maintain a range of diesel generators from 2kVA to 5000kVA
- Working on new technology, BESS Battery Energy Storage System, hybrid systems and hydrogen generators. Training will be provided.
- Diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and respond to breakdowns.
- Assist with installations, commissioning and testing of generator systems
- Travel to remote sites as required for short-term projects or emergency support




- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols
- Collaborate with other technicians and project managers.

What we’re looking for

- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Diesel or equivalent)
- Previous experience with generator servicing or mobile plant an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to travel (FIFO when required)
- Current driver’s license (manual essential)
- White Card and/or confined space / working at heights tickets highly regarded
- Solid problem-solving and attention to detail
- Professional, positive attitude and commitment to safety
