Family owned since 1939, Nobby Kitchens has an enviable reputation for quality and service for over 80 years. To further our growth and expansion, we have a position available as a consultant to join our team at Taren Point.
Our showroom boasts some of the most innovative designs and displays. The showroom is located in Taren Point.
A busy, fun environment, you would be joining a fantastic group of people who are passionate about assisting our customers with their kitchen selection process. Our products feature the finest materials and our installation teams do a great job, so you will be presenting products and services you can be confident in.
Position required and Availablehours:
Permanent:
Position 1: Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 5:30pm
Position 2: Sunday 10 - 4pm - Thursday 9am - 5:30pm
Pay level:
Base + Commissions - up to $100K OTE
The Role and the ideal person:
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will understand that first impressions are critical. You will confidently establish immediate trust and rapport with customers, guiding them through their initial discovery journey by understanding their preferences in design, colours, and finishes. This is a consultative sales role where you will showcase our premium range of kitchens and accessories, positioning solutions that align with each customer’s renovation aspirations.
Your key responsibility is to qualify and convert leads, ensuring customers are professionally booked with our Kitchen Designers for detailed design consultations using the latest 3D design technology. You will work closely with customers to uncover, document,
and communicate their needs with precision, ensuring a seamless handover and the best possible outcome for every renovation project.
Selling kitchens is both rewarding and agile, as customers seek trusted guidance throughout one of their most significant home investments. As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will act as a product and lifestyle expert, confidently presenting aspirational ideas and solutions. Ongoing training and support will ensure you remain at the forefront of product knowledge and industry trends.
You will bring passion, professionalism, and leadership to the team, setting the standard for customer engagement and sales excellence. While experience in retail or sales is preferred, a strong drive to succeed, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine customer-first mindset are essential. A high level of listening skills and emotional intelligence will be critical to your success.
The role also includes general administrative responsibilities, requiring a solid level of computer literacy. Phone enquiry management is a key component of the position, so strong telephone skills, confidence in articulating value, and the ability to build rapport over the phone are essential.
HubSpot
HubSpot is a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform for ensuring our customers are phone or emailed daily and HubSpot is up to date everyday. Therefore some level of computer skills are required.
Training and support:
We invest a huge amount of time in our people. Extensive product and sales process training will be provided.
