We are looking for a warm, reliable and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our close-knit team across our two practices: Hinterland View Dental in Woombye and The Smile Workx in Noosaville.

This is a full-time, reception-focused position suited to someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in keeping things organised and notices the small details that help a dental practice run smoothly. This is primarily a full-time position; however, part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

The role may also include occasional dental assisting duties when required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working collaboratively with a supportive clinical team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients with warmth, professionalism and genuine care
- Managing appointments, recalls and patient enquiries
- Coordinating the daily appointment book and supporting smooth clinic flow
- Answering telephone calls, emails and online enquiries
- Processing payments, health fund claims and payment plans
- Following up treatment plans, recalls and outstanding appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative systems
- Communicating effectively with dentists, clinicians and support team members
- Helping patients feel informed, comfortable and well cared for
- Occasionally assisting chairside, preparing treatment rooms and supporting sterilisation processes when required
- Working across our Woombye and Noosaville practices as rostered

About You

You will ideally be:

- Friendly, welcoming and confident when communicating with patients
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and able to recognise what needs to be done without always being asked
- Dependable, punctual and committed to supporting the team
- Calm and professional in a busy practice workplace
- Comfortable discussing appointments, treatment plans and payments
- Accurate when handling patient information, bookings and financial transactions
- A caring team player who values excellent patient service
- Willing and able to work across both practice locations
- Able to travel reliably between Woombye and Noosaville

Previous dental reception or dental assisting experience is highly regarded; however, we are happy to provide training for the right person who has the attitude, personality and organisational strengths we are looking for.

Experience with dental practice management software, health fund claiming and payment processing would be an advantage.
