You trained as a clinician. You also know your way around a tech stack. This role was built for you.
Optimum Health Solutions is looking for a registered allied health clinician with genuine technology capability to lead the integration of our clinical and technology layers across 15+ clinic sites in NSW and Tasmania.
As Clinical Technology Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the tools our clinicians use every day are the right ones, embedded properly, and actually making their working lives better. That means evaluating and implementing new systems, leading our approach to AI integration in clinical practice, and building the training programs that give every staff member — regardless of their digital comfort level — the confidence to use the technology available to them.
This is not an IT support role. It is a change leadership role inside a clinical organisation. Your success will be measured by whether clinicians across Optimum are working smarter because of the systems you put in place.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and integrating the technology layer across Optimum's clinical operations, with Nookal as the core practice management platform
- Leading the evaluation and implementation of AI tools across clinical and operational workflows
- Developing governance frameworks for the safe and ethical use of AI in clinical settings
- Designing and delivering technology training for clinical and administrative staff across all sites
- Identifying workflow inefficiencies and fixing them through better use of existing technology
- Serving as the primary internal contact for technology vendors and external IT partners
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience working with clinical technology systems in a health setting
- Experience with Nookal or a comparable allied health practice management system
- Practical knowledge of AI tools and their application in clinical workflows
- Experience designing and delivering technology training to non-technical audiences
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multi-site implementations
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across NSW and Tasmania
Why Optimum
We are a multidisciplinary organisation with 15+ clinic locations and more than 200 staff. We are genuinely investing in the technology infrastructure that will allow our clinicians to spend more time on what they trained to do. You will have direct access to senior leadership, real influence over the direction of that investment, and the Allied Health Warrior platform for your own career development.
If you are a clinician who is as comfortable in a tech conversation as a clinical one, we would love to hear from you.
