Note: This specific role is based in our Zetland, Sydney office.

The Role

We are currently looking for a full time BIM Modeller / Services Designer to support our growing Digital Engineering workload, with a strong specific focus on Mechanical Services.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about taking their mechanical design drafting and shop drawing experience to the highest levels the industry can offer. You will be a core part of our Sydney team, transforming mechanical engineering concepts into highly accurate, constructible 3D models and workshop drawings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Mechanical Design Drafting & Shop Drawings:



Produce highly accurate mechanical services design layouts and detailed workshop drawings ready for manufacturing and installation.
- BIM Coordination: Coordinate mechanical models with other disciplines (Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, Structural, and Architectural) to achieve clash-free, dynamic, and accurate 3D models.
- Engineering Application: Apply mechanical engineering principles to the design and modelling of complex construction projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with internal teams, production partners, and clients to ensure quality standards and project directions are met.

Key Attributes & Requirements:

- 2–3 years minimum experience in Mechanical Services drafting, shop drawing production, and Building Services Coordination.
- Competent user of Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD (Experience in both is highly valued).
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC systems, and construction drawings.
- Capable of interpreting Australian Standards and manufacturing standards.
- Proven ability to maintain high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Must hold an Australian Passport or Citizenship.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Zetland NSW 2017: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
