The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of Liability claims in accordance with policies and procedures ensuring the most cost-effective and timely outcomes are achieved. Provide technical assistance, advice and support to entry level or Claims officers as required.

What You’ll Do

End to end management of Liability claim files ensuring best practice processes and procedures are maintained in a cost effective and timely manner

Provide underwriters and claims manager with feedback from issues or risk deficiencies identified during a claim's management, and develop own technical and engineering industry knowledge.Contribute to the development of Specialty's market profile through superior claims service to our targeted market segment

Act as a subject matter expert for the immediate team in the area of Liability claims, and assist with technical queries relating to policy, product knowledge, systems, processes or procedures

Provide specialist technical and/or skilled advice for the authorisation and approval of complex claims,



relying on analysis and experience to arrive at the correct course of action.

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualifications in law, business or insurance (mandatory)Minimum 5 years' experience managing a portfolio of liability claims

Ability to develop solutions and courses of action by using an information base to identify key issues, compare with other data and determine cause-effect relationships

Ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written

Commitment to increasing customer experience and delivering high quality solutions within required timeframes.
