Senior Hairdresser and School based apprentice

Fox & Hare Salon is seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser and a School based apprentice / tea and tidy to join our team in Battery Point. This is a casual position that offers flexibility across Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with the potential for part-time or full-time hours in future.

We do not offer particular services such as children's services and keratins/nano etc. This has shaped our space to be calm, low chemical and intimate, this helps us deliver our best work and professionalism to our loyal clientele. Our clients are our top priority, we are continuously looking at ways to upskill and improve to give them the best results and experience.

What we're looking for

- A recognised hairdressing qualification with expertise in cutting, colouring and styling




- Strong technical skills with proficiency in a wide range of hair types, textures and styles
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability within a casual work arrangement
- A genuine passion for hair with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Extension experience or interest is not required but is advantageous
