TRUCK DRIVER

Role summary

We are seeking a Truck Driver to join the Aubigny team, responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles and for timely, compliant delivery of goods. The primary vehicle will be a Kenworth Prime Mover, with occasional operation of smaller vehicles.

Key responsibilities and essential requirements

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport various products and materials
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance where trained
- Plan and follow efficient and safe delivery routes to meet schedules
- Secure freight properly to prevent loss or damage




- Verify loading documentation and obtain delivery confirmations
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a prime mover
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle class; minimum requirement HC class licence
- Valuable understanding of and compliance with COR (Chain of Responsibility) and Transport Regulations
- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role
- Predominantly local travel, with flexibility for interstate/overnight travel required
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Clear communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, self-motivated, and deadline-focused
