As the HR/People & Culture Specialist at YLO (Residential Care Services) Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting our thriving organisation and contributing to the overall success of our team. This is a full time position based in Loganholme, Queensland, offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work for a dynamic and purpose-driven company.
What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Coordinate and administer employee training and development programs
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and support
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the overall people and culture strategy
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong understanding of Australian employment laws, HR best practices,
and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Proficient in HR-related software and technology
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is highly desirable
