We are looking for a passionate and well-connected Community Engagement Lead who has exceptional networking ability within the Brisbane district and understands how to build meaningful relationships across the NDIS sector.

This role is ideal for someone who is more than a marketer. We are looking for someone who can connect with people, understand their needs, build trust and help participants access the right in-home support services.

About the Role

As our Community Engagement Lead, NDIS In-Home Care, you will be the face of AussieCarers in the Brisbane community.

You will actively build relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health Professionals, hospitals, social workers, community organisations, participants and families. Your role will be to create genuine referral pathways, identify participants who may need in-home care services and help them feel confident choosing Aussie Carers as their trusted provider.

This is a growth-focused role, but it must be done with heart, professionalism and integrity.





What You’ll Be Doing

- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Brisbane NDIS and community care sector
- Connect with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health Professionals, hospitals, social workers, participants and families
- Identify participants who require quality in-home care services
- Understand participant needs, goals and NDIS plans
- Promote AussieCarers’ services with confidence, compassion and professionalism
- Attend community events, networking meetings and industry forums
- Develop strong referral pathways that lead to long-term participant engagement
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth participant onboarding and service delivery
- Represent AussieCarers with honesty, care and respect
- Support business growth while always keeping participant wellbeing as the first priority

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can build trust and deliver results.

The right person will have:

- Strong networking connections within the Brisbane district
- Experience in the NDIS, disability, aged care, health or community services sector
- Good understanding of NDIS plans, participant pathways and in-home care services
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with referrers, participants and families




- Strong communication, confidence and people skills
- A genuine passion for helping people live better lives
- Ability to work independently and achieve clear outcomes
- A professional, caring and community-focused attitude
- A solid desire to grow with the organisation

Requirements

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to travel locally and attend community meetings and participant appointments with flexible hours.
- Ability to attend at least 2 appointments or networking visits per day
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Blue Card or Working with Children Check
- Previous experience in NDIS marketing, community engagement or participant acquisition will be highly regarded
