Lead the investment strategy behind HKS's growing MDA.

HKS is seeking a Head of Investments to lead the governance, management and ongoing development of our Managed Discretionary Account program, currently overseeing more than $500 million in Funds Under Advice.

This is a senior, hands-on role with full ownership of our 15 model portfolios, including portfolio construction, investment research, manager selection, due diligence and identifying new investment opportunities that are in the best interests of clients.

The role will act as the central point of accountability for investment governance, working closely with our external asset consultant and acting as IRC Secretariat to support strong oversight, decision-making and compliance across the MDA.

You will also play a key role in communicating investment insights to advisers and clients, including portfolio positioning, market updates, investment decisions and performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Ownership and management of 15 model portfolios
- Portfolio construction, monitoring and rebalancing
- Investment research and manager due diligence
- Identification and assessment of new investment opportunities
- IRC Secretariat and investment governance oversight
- Support for MDA and RG 179 compliance requirements




- Adviser and client investment communications
- Continuous improvement of the investment process and offering

Location & Flexibility

This position is based from our Stones Corner office in Brisbane.

Our preference is full-time, however we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements and part-time hours for the right candidate.
