About the Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Cleaners / Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join our team across The Garland and St George's Defence Holiday Suites in beautiful Coolangatta.

This role involves a combination of guest room housekeeping and maintaining public areas within our apartment buildings. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active and taking pride in maintaining clean and well-presented spaces.

You may come from a hotel, housekeeping, Airbnb, commercial cleaning, facilities or maintenance background.

Hours

Consistent morning shifts:

Start: 6:00am or 9:00am (depending on roster)
Finish: Approximately 2pm

Roster: 4 days per week (including availability to work Saturdays)

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting and restocking supplies

- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts and stairwells

- Clean and maintain public bathrooms and restock consumables

- Clean windows, glass doors and balustrades throughout the property

- Maintain pool areas, BBQ areas and outdoor furniture

- Assist with rubbish and recycling management, including washing bins

- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and blower vac





- Clean shared facilities including gym, laundries, basement and storage areas

- Prepare balconies and common areas for daily guest arrivals

- Report any maintenance issues or repairs to the team

About You

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

- Robust attention to detail and pride in your work

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

- Friendly and positive attitude with a team mindset

- Comfortable using cleaning equipment (training provided if required)

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
