Join Zortex Orthotics, a leading provider of orthotic services across New South Wales for more than 25 years. We are recognised for delivering exceptional, patient centred care through a collaborative multidisciplinary approach, working alongside medical specialists, allied health professionals and rehabilitation teams across both public and private healthcare settings.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Allied Health Clinical Assistant to join our experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Assistant looking to broaden their clinical skills, while also welcoming enthusiastic new graduates who are eager to develop their expertise within a supportive mentoring environment.

You will play an important role in helping clients achieve their mobility and rehabilitation goals by assisting with treatment programs, orthotic services and clinical care. Working alongside our experienced orthotist team, you'll gain exposure to a diverse caseload across paediatric and adult clients while developing valuable clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Orthotists and other Allied Health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers, schools and healthcare providers.
- Promote client independence through high quality clinical support and education.
- Maintain a safe, professional and client focused clinical workplace.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment and is passionate about Allied Health Assistance as a long term career.

Whether you're an experienced Allied Health Assistant or a recent graduate eager to learn, you'll be supported by a team committed to mentoring and professional development.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or be working towards completion).
- Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role is desirable but not essential.
- Experience supporting Allied Health clinicians within healthcare, disability, rehabilitation or community settings will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred, evidence-based care.
- A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or the ability to obtain them).
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Why Join Zortex Orthotics?
