About the opportunity

We are currently seeking Qualified carers / Personal care workers for Night Shift, preferably with one or more years of aged care experience, to join our Care team at our Moran Sylvania home.

Night Shift - 22:30pm to 06:30am

Reporting to the Registered Nurse you will be providing quality care and assist the residents living in our residential home. Moran provides 24-hour RN nursing coverage, so clinical support and leadership is always available to carers.

You will be guided and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents' enjoyment of their life every day. Key Duties:

Providing high-quality essential care, personal assistance, and wellbeing support to our residents in line with each individual care plan. As a member of the care team, this includes coordinating with colleagues to ensure all resident needs are met and that all necessary preparations are completed for the following shift.

- Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful,



open to change and positive in your approach.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health and Management as required.

Skills/Requirements:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or certificate IV in Individual Support
- Dedication to providing a high standard of care and service
- Ability to work in a team and engage positively with your colleagues
- Basic computer skills
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Highly organised with strong planning skills.
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Good communication skills
- Valid working visa
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
